President Donald Trump said Wednesday night that he and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung had agreed to $200 billion in potential U.S. energy investments in a lengthy Truth Social post that included several paragraphs pasted in twice.

He then spent the next several hours posting about Iran, Iraq, Boeing and former special counsel Jack Smith — making it one of his busiest nights posting in recent weeks.

"In New York, I met with Lee Jae Myung, the President of the Republic of Korea, and we agreed to launch 200 Billion Dollars of new Investments in AMERICA!" Trump . He tied the money to a $350 billion Korea Strategic Trade and Investment Deal reached in 2025, and listed three “investment commitments”: a $120 billion program for eight nuclear reactors, a $50 billion Alaska natural gas project and a $22 billion gas-fired power plant in Encinal, Texas.

South Korean officials said they still need to judge whether the Alaska project makes business sense, according to the Associated Press.

“We will decide whether to invest in the Alaska LNG project only after thoroughly reviewing it in accordance with our domestic legal procedures and based on the principle of commercial viability,” wrote Han Jeong-ae, the secretary-general of the South Korean president’s Democratic Party, on social media.

After his South Korea investment post, Trump made nearly 20 new posts overnight, not including reposts.

On the subject of Iran, Trump posted from an Oval Office exchange from earlier Wednesday. When a reporter asked how to make a deal with Iranian leaders Trump has called “crazy,” Trump responded: "Maybe you blow them up. Maybe you blow them up. We have to make that decision. We blow them up, make a deal, but the time is coming."

In yet another video, Trump posted a video of himself giving remarks about American forces leaving Iraq. “It was a quagmire,” he said. “For many, many years it lasted. But soon that part of history will be over.” The U.S. military said Wednesday that the planned withdrawal of coalition forces in Iraq was complete.

After midnight, Trump congratulating Boeing for a 737 Max that he said withstood "G Forces and Strain far beyond what it was designed and expected to do." He was apparently referring to the thwarted hijacking of a 737 Flydubai flight, during which a violent cockpit altercation resulted in a nearly 14,000-foot plunge. (In January 2024, Trump the 737 "the worst looking plane in the air" and said it "seems cursed.")

Throughout the rest of the night, Trump shared roughly a dozen news articles: about CNN, Jack Smith, his administration’s revocation of President Biden’s fuel economy regulations, the United Nations, Iran, and recent golf and college football events attended by the president. All of these posts were just reproductions of the article headlines with links to the stories.
