No overnight posts from Trump, as president visits Kentucky on midterm campaign stop

Early in the afternoon, the president posted five desk-shot endorsement videos.

President Donald Trump made no overnight Truth Social posts, after sharing a link to a livestream in the early afternoon to a rally he was headlining in Kentucky.

At the rally, Trump repeated his promise to send $5,000 to all American adults if Republicans won the House and Senate, and claimed that the war in Iran would soon be over, CBS News reported.

Trump’s only other notable posts from Saturday were five videos of the president at the Resolute Desk making endorsements.

In a two-minute video, the president endorsed Congressman Russell Fry for South Carolina’s 7th congressional district, who he called a “good friend.” In another South Carolina endorsement video, Trump urged voters there to support Darline Graham, Lindsey Graham’s sister, in her Senate race.

Trump also made a short video accusing Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed of being a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and endorsing his opponent, Republican Mike Rogers. Trump has repeatedly levied Islamophobic attacks against El-Sayed in the past month.

In yet another video, Trump called on Iowa voters to reelect Zach Nunn to Iowa’s 3rd congressional district.

Finally, in his last substantive social media post of the day, Trump shared a five-minute video attacking James Talarico, the Democratic candidate for the Senate in Texas.

“James TalaFREAKO is a Radical Left Lunatic and Vegan who is the ANTITHESIS of Texas Values,” Trump wrote in his caption to the video. Talarico, like El-Sayed, has been a frequent target of outlandish and personal attacks by the president and those in his orbit.
